What You Need to Know About Emaxx EMX-A320-GAMING

The EMX-A320-GAMING motherboard, Emaxx first AM4 offering, is built to harness the power of the newest Ryzen processors of AMD. On this article, we’ll show you the things you need to know about it.

Emaxx has built the EMX-A320-GAMING with the basics that one will need from a motherboard. It is of the Micro-ATX form factor centered with the AM4 Socket which is complemented by Dual-Channel DDR4 DIMM slots and a 3+2 Power Phase design that provides smooth power to the CPU. Just under the CPU socket is the PCIE lane occupied by one X16 slot for the graphics card and two x1 slots for add-in cards.

Below the PCIE lanes are headers for additional USB 2.0USB 3.0System Fan, and COM connector. A CMOS Jumper will also be seen along this lane. However, most motherboards have the front panel headers lined with the other headers, but the EMX-A320-GAMING has the panel headers occupying the usual area of the SATA ports. On the other hand, the SATA ports get the spot where the panel headers are usually seen. Four SATA III 6Gb/s ports are waiting for HDDs or SSDs to be plugged in. There is a LED Light that traces the path in which the high-end audio components and 7.1 Channel High Definition Audio headers are separated from the other motherboard components.

As for the I/O ports, the EMX-A320-GAMING has two options for monitor output, you can either opt for VGA or HDMI, but you can also make use these ports for dual-monitor setup. It has four USB ports in total, two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 Gen1. If you’re still rocking or have plans on using olden keyboards and mice, the EMX-A320-GAMING has this covered with its two PS/2 ports. Its network interface is handled by a Realtek Gigabit port.

If you’re planning to build a Ryzen powered PC, but you’re also running on a tight budget, then this motherboard will surely lessen the total price of your planned build.
